Blogger: Public ideas beat resumes — traditional CVs pigeonhole cross-domain thinkers
signulll · x · 2026-10-04
signulll argues the biggest problem with traditional resumes and LinkedIn is how aggressively they pigeonhole people: recruiters glance at your job history and make lazy assumptions — "you did X, so you must be Y" — boxing cross-domain thinkers into reductive archetypes.
The only real antidote, he says, is a public profile built on ideas: posts, essays, prototypes — whatever proves you think clearly. That's the modern resume, and the only way to escape traditional outcomes and hierarchies.
