tom_doerr · x · 2026-10-04
openGym is an open-source, fully self-hosted gym and body-weight tracker you deploy via Docker Compose on your own server, protected by passkey login — no third-party accounts, no subscription.
Key features:
- Plan your training week with support for supersets, warm-ups and cardio
- Guided workout logging, showing which muscles are trained, fatigued or detrained
- Cross-device sync of workouts and body-weight data
- Import history from FitNotes, Strong and Hevy
The project has around 1.7k stars on GitHub; its repo includes an MCP directory and CLAUDE.md, suggesting AI coding tools were used in development.
