"Which model is best" is the wrong question — picking per task is the new AI literacy
Olivier__OG · x · 2026-10-04
OlivierOG argues the AI race is getting harder to reduce to a leaderboard: give GPT-6 Astra and Claude Opus 5.5 the same task and results diverge — one may grasp context better, another follow instructions more precisely, produce more usable output, or finish cheaper. The question "which model is best" is thus becoming wrong; the real skill is knowing which model fits the job at hand, as AI literacy shifts from using tools to choosing them.
