Mistral AI CEO Arthur Mensch says the lead US AI companies hold over Europe is "not extremely large", and expressed confidence that Mistral's next AI model will significantly narrow the current gap. The sharer is skeptical about the EU returning to the AI race, but calls it "epic" if it happens.
