Ramen 0.6.0: Self-Hosted Multi-Zone MCP Server for GKE/EKS with OAuth
Ok_Plum3595 · reddit · 2026-10-04
Ramen is an open-source (BSD-3) MCP server that treats agent tools like any other service: tools live in a git repo, deploys roll canary workers with smoke tests; each Rust worker supports Streamable HTTP and gRPC JSON-RPC on one port with auth, IP rules and throttling; a Python 3.14 runtime executes tools in separate processes. A group of 30 tools is one Deployment per zone, not 30 containers. Its console is an OAuth 2.1 server (PKCE, per-group consent), so Claude Code can sign in as you. Validated on GKE and EKS across two zones.
