If LLMs write most code, why not design a programming language just for AI?
MyBeardHasThreeHairs · reddit · 2026-10-04
A Reddit user argues that since LLMs will write most code anyway, we shouldn't force them to use human languages like Python, Java, or Rust. Instead, labs should design an AI-native language: you describe what the thing needs to do plus constraints, and the compiler (AI) figures out the actual implementation—potentially mixing Go, Java, SQL, or whatever fits each part. The author sees this as an obvious thing for major AI labs to try, and it would spare humans from learning five languages and a million frameworks.
