Jev open-sourced: PowerShell module turns natural language into typed AI decisions
dfinke · x · 2026-10-03
- Developer dfinke released Jev, an open-source PowerShell module that replaces script conditions with natural language questions: pipe in messy text like reviews, and the model returns typed True/False, choice, or score results your script can act on.
- It connects PowerShell to TypeSafe AI's Jev model. Install via Install-Module Jev, set TYPESAFEAPIKEY, then define questions with New-JevYesNoQuestion, e.g. "Page on-call only if customers cannot complete purchases."
- The goal is a consistent, structured decision interface for unstructured input. Source is on GitHub, with a sister module PSAIPerplexityDecisions built on Perplexity.
