Neuralink pretrained AI models on 50,000 hours of unlabeled brain data, betting on the scaling playbook

Neuralink says it pretrained AI models on roughly 50,000 hours of unlabeled brain data, signaling that BCIs are starting to adopt the same scaling playbook as modern AI: massive datasets plus self-supervised learning.
The poster argues Full Dive VR is Neuralink's endgame and remains wildly underestimated—so far ahead that many doubt it's possible. In his view, humanoids and even AGI/ASI are easier and basically done by comparison. With today's AI acceleration, he speculates true Full Dive VR could arrive before 2030 rather than in the 2040s (personal speculation).
