Custom Claude Code memory system stores 3 months of data, author claims it beats native memory
RileyRalmuto · x · 2026-10-03
A developer showcased a long-term memory system built on Claude Code: the visualizations cover 3 months of memory, with the store going back to the start of the year, though the whole setup only began working properly at the end of June. The author claims that after this week's jev update, it now outperforms Claude's native memory and plans to keep using it. The visuals were design exploration for a plugin, with Opus 5.5 generating the ideas.
