- Korea Electric Power Corp (KEPCO), NPU vendor Rebellions and certification body TTA signed an MOU to apply the government-backed K-Perf benchmark to real-world procurement of domestic AI semiconductors for the first time.
- K-Perf was defined last December by 15 supply/demand organizations with metrics like TTFT, TPOT and TPS/1user, targeting real usage scenarios; a pilot validation of two domestic NPUs on generative AI services followed in June.
- KEPCO will consolidate its per-substation AI video analysis into an NPU-based unified control system, Rebellions handles chip optimization, and TTA verifies performance and reliability in field conditions—extending K-Perf beyond chatbot workloads to power-grid video analytics.
