Parse XML Like JSON in Python with xmltodict

XML shows up in legacy APIs, exported reports, and external data feeds, but nested tags and mixed attributes make it painful in Python. The tip: use xmltodict to convert XML into a JSON-like dict, so nested values are accessed with plain dictionary keys instead of manual tree traversal.
