CloudAnalyzer: browser-based LiDAR tools for SLAM map fixes and Lanelet2 editing in Rust+WASM
rsasaki0109 · x · 2026-10-02
rsasaki0109 open-sourced CloudAnalyzer, a suite of browser-based LiDAR tools.
- Open a ROS bag or pose+scan data, close loops by hand (ICP alignment), remove passing cars, compare against last month's map or ground truth; also point-cloud analysis and editable Lanelet2 vector-map drafting.
- Built with Rust compiled to WebAssembly, running locally on all cores — nothing to install, data never leaves your machine.
- The author is also experimenting with agentic AI to create vector maps.
