A widely shared demo claims Manus, the autonomous agent from Butterfly Effect, can orchestrate about 50 social media profiles from a single dashboard — posting, replying and engaging around the clock with no human involved. The footage shows a wall of phone screens all moving simultaneously, reviving the "dead internet" concern: most users can no longer tell which accounts in their feed are human and which are machines talking to each other.
