Why the AI-built Minecraft portals failed: unloaded chunks on the far end

Having watched the AI agent port all of Minecraft's console commands, the author diagnosed why his portal test failed: the chunks at the far end unload when the player is far away, causing him to suffocate entering the second portal. Minecraft already has a command to keep those chunks loaded, so the fix is clear.
