Five AI browsers, months of daily use: Dia, Comet, Brave, Ace, Edge compared

After swapping daily browsers every few weeks, the author's notes on five AI browsers:
- Dia: chat in the address bar instead of a sidebar — feels right; Arc fans will like it.
- Comet: best at answering questions about what's on screen; search DNA shows, less useful for managing your own tabs.
- Brave: a normal browser with good blocking that happens to have an assistant; least ambitious AI, best ads experience out of the box.
- Ace: the surprise keeper — focused on acting across tabs rather than summarizing one, with enough cross-session context to stop re-explaining yourself; newer, rough edges.
- Edge: free, already installed, genuinely useful in Office-centric workflows.
Takeaway: some of these read for you and some do things for you — not the same product.
