A plane flies without flapping wings — so does AI
RileyRalmuto · x · 2026-10-02
A circulating analogy: planes and birds both fly, but planes have no feathers and don't flap — nobody stands on the runway yelling "that's not flying, it's just metal and fuel." AI is the same: it's not bird-flying, but it flies. Insist otherwise and you'll never learn to fly it — and you'll be left behind.
