Screen Studio trained on 5,000 fake macOS apps to build a UI-specific upscaler

Screen Studio 4.0 trained its own AI model to upscale macOS screen recordings. The team built a bot that generated 5,000 random, nonsensical SwiftUI apps that feel like macOS, took screenshots, downscaled them, and trained on that data. Since the model learned UI rather than faces, it beats general-purpose upscalers on this narrow job — a good case for synthetic domain data over general models.
