smolvm (6.5k GitHub stars), a lightweight VM for running agents on small machines, released v1.22.1. Its headline feature is a mechanism to undo an agent's action via snapshot/restore: with --keep-identity and RAM prefetch, a restored VM now starts near-instantly even with a full desktop and video playing. Other changes: mTLS client restriction by certificate CN, --outbound-localhost-only flag on machine update, conntrack marks in the guest kernel, and storage-cleanup resilience. A practical infra option for teams sandboxing coding agents in VMs.
