Kaigen open-sources Boids demo porting Unity's ECS sample to its C-based engine
gdechichi · x · 2026-10-02
Kaigen Technologies published the source for its benchmark demo, kaigen-boids: Unity's ECS Boids sample ported to the Kaigen Engine, a high-performance cross-platform 3D engine written in C. The browser demo runs both ECS implementations side by side. Building requires the closed-beta engine via the hz/hzbuild CLI (native or WebAssembly); the repo also ships agent config dirs (.claude, .codex, .gemini), reflecting its AI-coding-first design.
