Palantir CEO Karp: lawyers barred me from saying 'dominant' in English talks

A clip of Merck CEO Stefan Oschmann and Palantir CEO Alex Karp is circulating. Oschmann: "You cannot say 'dominant' in Europe if lawyers are in the room. Antitrust."
Karp replied: "You can win in a way that's permanent," then joked: "It's really funny, the lawyers won't let me speak anywhere in English anymore because I'm always saying things I'm not supposed to say."
Sharer Marvin TBaumann called Karp a rare big-tech CEO who is broadly educated. The exchange highlights how tightly antitrust concerns constrain what major-company executives can say in public.
