App Store Connect CLI 5.9.0 ships IPA validation, all-territory pricing and better errors
rudrank · x · 2026-10-02
Developer rudrank released asc CLI (an App Store Connect command-line tool) v5.9.0 with a series of improvements:
- IPA validation: asc validate --ipa reads UIDeviceFamily from Info.plist and blocks submission when the build supports iPad but the primary locale lacks iPad screenshots, verifying bundle ID, version and build number.
- All-territory availability: asc pricing availability create --all-territories makes the app available everywhere in Apple's catalog.
- Resumable waits: asc builds wait --report-pending prints pending state plus a resume command on timeout, exiting with new code 7.
- Apple-aligned pricing calendar: pricing now uses the US Pacific day with exclusive end dates across pricing current, IAP/subscription summaries, equalize and derive.
- Better errors: missing versions are listed, uncancellable review submissions explain their state, and over-length review notes report exactly how many characters to cut.
Other tweaks include ASCAPPID support in asc web review, --version live handling both state attributes, and helpful suggestions for guessed commands.
