Claude Code ships mods: customize behavior and UI with a few lines of TypeScript
jarrodwatts · x · 2026-10-02
Claude Code now supports mods — small extensions that let you change how the agent behaves, customize the UI, and swap in your own features. Write one in a few lines of TypeScript or have Claude build it. Mods ship inside plugins, installable via /plugin in the CLI or desktop app, with official examples provided.
