Claude Code CLI 2.1.287 landed just a day after the previous release, with notable changes tracked by the community changelog account:
- Claude Mods: plugins can now modify deeper behavior of the CLI, not just add features
- You should know: an opt-in builtin plugin where a side agent watches your session and flags things you or Claude might miss (/plugin enable cc-plugin-you-should-know@builtin)
- New n:<text> filter in the agents view; new models claude-code-mcp, claude-code-tools, claude-mods
- Bundle grew 854.6 kB (+1.6%) while prompt files dropped 48.1% and prompt tokens fell 8,328 (-26.6%), shifting mix from 86.6% tools to 36.7% system tokens
