NLP researcher Sivareddyg joins Mistral AI to build a frontier open-LLM team in Canada

Researcher Sivareddyg announced he has joined Mistral AI, where he will build a team in Montreal and across Canada to push the frontier of safe, capable, and open LLMs. He says Mistral plays an important role in keeping frontier AI open and advancing it safely, and his conviction has only grown since joining. Peers including Frank Noe have publicly congratulated him.
