DeepMind's multi-agent benchmark Melting Pot has been updated: its dependency Lab2d now ships a wheel for modern Python environments, with Melting Pot following suit.
This means agentic coding tools no longer need to run an old Python version in a sandbox when running Melting Pot, lowering setup friction for experiments.
