huggingface · x · 2026-10-01
Hugging Face announced that HuggingChat now supports MCPs, letting users plug their own data into the open-source chat app. HuggingChat also ships Omni, which auto-picks the best model per request, while users can still chat directly with any available open source model. The team framed it as MCPs "making quite the comeback."
