Articraft: open-source AI agent generates articulated 3D objects and exports posable USDZ files
rsasaki0109 · x · 2026-10-01
Articraft is an open-source AI agent that generates articulated 3D objects from a text prompt or a reference image. It asks a model to write Python code with its 3D authoring SDK, compiles and checks the result, then exports a posable USDZ file. Requires Python 3.11+, uv, and an OpenAI API key; it ships with a viewer to inspect versions and move joints. The project is still pre-1.0 and under active development.
