AI ethics researcher Timnit Gebru claimed critics can't even tell who is an effective altruist, citing how coordinated and obsessed EA-aligned people are around her, and welcomed more people seeing the "vile cult."
Armand Doma replied that mislabeling a clearly non-EA person as one only strengthens his original point about sloppy EA labeling — the latest round in the ongoing EA vs. anti-EA feud in AI safety circles.
