Matt Pocock open-sources /codebase-design skill that runs deletion tests to kill shallow modules

Matt Pocock has open-sourced his /codebase-design skill (install via npx skills@latest add mattpocock/skills --skill=codebase-design). His daily prompt: scan the repo for shallow modules, apply the deletion test, and surface candidates for deletion to kill unnecessary abstractions.
The skill is a vocabulary reference, not a process: it precisely defines module, interface, depth, seam, adapter, leverage, and locality, bans loose substitutes like "component" and "service," and states the design principles that follow. It has no loop, artifacts, or checkpoints — other design-oriented skills borrow its vocabulary. Best used when you know which code you're reshaping and need to reason about interface size and seam placement.
