Google releases RRSI, a framework that auto-evolves LLM agent harnesses around a frozen model

Google has released Regularized Recursive Self-Improvement of Agent Harnesses (RRSI), a framework that automatically evolves LLM agent harnesses.
- RRSI automatically improves all components of an agent harness — prompts, control flow, tools, and memory — while keeping the underlying LLM frozen
- The approach combines recursive self-improvement with regularization to let the agent scaffolding iterate on itself without touching the model
