When anyone can code, the alpha shifts to problem identification, says Remi Louf
remilouf · x · 2026-10-01
Remi Louf qualifies his earlier point that since any "typing monkey" can now solve problems, the real alpha is in identifying which problems to solve — the reason his team has stayed quiet about benchmark results and a "game changing" roadmap. He adds a caveat: for highly technical products, experts who understand the field and codebase remain a huge advantage; otherwise you just need a bigger army of typing monkeys.
