Protein binding folding models face data starvation after PDB has been fully juiced

In a thread closing note (retweeted by Anshul Kundaje), researcher Alex Camp argues that while research teams are trying to close the Multimer (binding) folding-model gap and may do a decent job, the field is broadly data-starved: the PDB's usable binding information has already been fully exploited, leaving little new data to push binding prediction further.
