anshulkundaje · x · 2026-10-01
Sasha Gusev released PO–Study Section Map, a searchable tool built from public NIH RePORTER data showing which study sections reviewed the grants managed by each program officer. It covers FY2022–2026: 381k records, 117k grants, 1,906 POs, and 988 sections.
- Browse by PO or by study section, filter by institute, active POs only, or include special emphasis panels
- Includes RePORTER Matchmaker (find similar funded projects from your abstract) and CSR Assisted Referral Tool (recommend sections from application text)
- The tool was reportedly generated in one shot with Claude; code and CSV exports are open-sourced on GitHub
