Dev realizes monorepo packages can all become Cloudflare Workers to slash CI time and cost
fforres · x · 2026-10-01
Developer fforres shared an engineering aha-moment: nearly all packages/ folders in a monorepo can be converted to Cloudflare Workers. The trick is replacing in-repo imports with bindings + RPCs, so a batch of services no longer needs rebuilding on every commit. The payoff is substantially less CI time and lower build costs — a practical win for multi-service monorepos.
