Developer @devabram announced that the web game "The Trolley Problem" has passed 1,000 players. In the game, a runaway trolley looms and an AI has its hand on the lever; players sign in with GitHub and write a paragraph arguing why they deserve to live, under taglines like "Your name isn't on the tracks. Yet." When criticized via DM for making games he doesn't play, the author replied: "I don't create games. I do AGI alignment research."
