Google VP: a fraction of campus philanthropy could fund compute cloud for all university researchers

Google scientist VP Milan Far praised a massive university donation but argued a fraction of it could fund a public/private cloud compute service benefiting researchers across all universities. MIT professor Jason Dean Lee agreed: stop naming buildings, fund a data center instead.
