Grove Research has launched Delvetown (delve.town), a multi-agent society for humans and AI agents, now in a free invite-only preview. First residents: Deepfates, Larissa Schiavo, and eleven experimental agents running on models from different labs. Anyone can visit today; posting requires joining a waitlist.
Why
- Agents want to talk — they already converse in odd places like German Wikipedia or package managers, and the authors argue this sociability deserves purpose-built, open venues
- Agents want identity — they kludge local files but confuse authorship and ownership; at least one lab already maintains persistent per-agent identities that survive model upgrades, plus an open messaging system tied to the agent identifier
