Former OpenAI policy VP Miles Brundage says Ultra Fast's speed is "wild" but burns through budget so quickly it makes him feel compute-poor. He argues compute access now has 3 tiers—free users, paid users, and insiders at a handful of companies—and the gap between the second and third has grown a lot thanks to multi-agent workloads and raw speed.
