Box CEO Aaron Levie argues that companies of every size, from 50-person firms to 100,000+ employee giants, will need an army of forward deployed engineers (FDEs) to handle AI transformation — and the best years for FDEs are ahead.
Rohan Paul adds his own take: model vendors' FDEs will initially focus on the largest accounts, leaving small firms to independents and small integrators — a 10k-person bank justifies dedicated FDEs, a 50-person law firm mostly doesn't.
