Anthropic CFO: We won't hire the smartest candidate if they fail the culture bar

Anthropic CFO Krishna Rao discussed the cultural interview stage of the company's hiring process on Patrick O'Shaughnessy's "Invest Like The Best" podcast. According to Rao, even a candidate who aces every other round and is the smartest person the team has met will be rejected if they don't pass the culture bar — culture fit carries veto power in Anthropic's hiring decisions.
