Agents Are Becoming Software's New Users, and Most Products Aren't Ready

Grok Bot builder larsencc argues most software still assumes human users, and that assumption will kill many companies. Building an agent product makes it obvious that agents need identities, permissions, credentials, sessions, audit logs, rate limits, and billing. "Does this work for agents?" is quickly becoming more important than "does this work on mobile?" markk adds that agents will soon be most software users, a fact not yet widely recognized.
