FTC opens probe into Anthropic, OpenAI and other AI labs

Per Andrew Curran, the US FTC has opened an investigation into Anthropic, OpenAI and other unnamed AI labs. The scope and grounds of the probe have not yet been detailed — a notable escalation in US regulatory scrutiny of leading AI companies.
