DoorDash unveils drone delivery arm DoorDash Air with sub-5-minute test flights in NorCal

DoorDash co-founder Stanley Tang unveiled DoorDash Air, a drone delivery system designed from the ground up around 13 years of delivery data. The drones are said to be as quiet as a passing car, with early tests showing average flight delivery times under 5 minutes. Chipotle and Popeyes are the first partners, with initial deliveries starting in Northern California.
