An OpenAI employee replied to a user hinting that something is "coming soon to chat" and that the team has "exciting stuff coming," deliberately saving announcements for after Dev Day. Speculation includes a new voice mode (beyond the current bidi one, which Sam Altman hinted would arrive around end of 2026), image/video generation inside ChatGPT, or a broader answer to Grok's bot.
