AI voice agent automates patient billing end-to-end, handling 61k+ calls

mardehaym shares an end-to-end AI voice agent for patient billing: it verifies identity, pulls billing records, explains insurance coverage and balance math, arranges payment plans, and sends payment links in a single call. Post-call, it handles follow-ups, scheduled payments, reconciliation, and writes back to the provider's billing system. Scale so far: 61,246 voice calls, 231,737 patient communications, 25,338 balances under management. Much of the engineering went into keeping steps connected — payments hitting the right account and reminders stopping when balances change.
