Triangle Splatting SLAM project page: ECCV 2026 system with live mesh editing, code released
rsasaki0109 · x · 2026-09-30
The author shares the project page for Triangle Splatting SLAM (ECCV 2026) from Imperial College London: a dense RGB-D SLAM system using differentiable triangles as a unified 3D representation. Triangles are spawned from back-projected depth maps, optimised photometrically, with joint pose and mapping refinement, and a connected mesh recovered on demand via Delaunay. Demos include physics simulation, thin structures, deformations, and online mesh editing. Funded by EPSRC; code and video are public.
