Indie dev cuts client's 6-8 hrs/week of manual review to 30 minutes with AI pipeline

An indie developer shares how he replaced a client's email-based review workflow with an automated system. About 20 outreach workers submitted proof of work by email, and two admins spent 6-8 hours weekly validating submissions, deduplicating, approving, flagging leads, tracking performance and managing payouts.
He built three pieces: a mobile-friendly worker portal, automated validation/dedup with human review only for edge cases, and an admin dashboard unifying approvals, leads, performance and payouts. Weekly manual effort dropped to 30 minutes. His takeaway: the hard part isn't the AI, it's deciding which steps to automate and which to keep human.
