Economist Paul Novosad warns that non-native English speakers increasingly let AI rewrite their words to sound more 'correct' — at the cost of clarity turning into lifelessness.
If all foreign writers AI-parse their prose, he argues, we'll lose the dropped articles of Ukrainians, the Germans' endless clauses, and the incredible Indian-English constructions. Nobody's words will sound like their authors anymore.
