Anthropic's 18-month cyber and bio risk deadline approaches with no materialization

Blogger xeophon tracks Anthropic's risk predictions: a July 2023 blog warned unmitigated bio risks could materialize within 2-3 years (now past, nothing happened), and in October 2024 Anthropic called for action within 18 months (by April 2026) over cyber and bio risks — a deadline approaching without the risks materializing. The author uses this to critique frontier labs' repeated doomsday predictions.
