OpenAI unveils 'dots' to rival Meta's Muse at DevDay, plus a $500 monthly plan

OpenAI launched over 20 new products at its annual DevDay in San Francisco, headlined by desktop agents called dots, a competitor to Meta's Muse agent and the Instinct assistant, Fortune reports.
Dots are always-available assistants assigned work via text, Slack, and Microsoft Teams. They can complete multi-step tasks such as tracking a project, preparing for appointments, or following up on to-dos, proactively leveraging apps the user has granted access to and only reaching out when human review is needed.
OpenAI also introduced a $500-per-month premium subscription plan.
